About the workshop

This workshop will assist with understanding the causes of child abuse and neglect and to develop appropriate education intervention strategies to assist prevention and empower individual children and young people to prevent and disclose abuse by using Protective Behaviours Education.

This workshop, proceeding from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, will provide participants with the fundamental background knowledge and skills to teach Protective Behaviours to children with confidence in a safe nonthreatening environment and has been specifically designed, so you have the confidence and tools to start teaching this valuable information to the children in your care, straight away.

At CFSS WA we encourage all adults in the roles you have, whether it may be as a teacher, leader, employee, volunteer, parent or community member, to be active in developing a culture that prioritises child safety and wellbeing within the organisations you are involved in.
